For Sale 1967 HCS convertible project on E-bay

This picture, which was included in Cory's book (under hicountrybob) was taken from that car. I have seen the car, but only briefly. My understanding is that the owners of a specialty mustang restoration shop in the area traded this car and a few others for a beautiful '67 convertible Eleanor...

1968 What tires do you use on your GT-CS?

If you are thinking about concours, check out Diamond Back (much better than Coker I hear). They also recommend not going bigger than 215-70-14.

1968 What tires do you use on your GT-CS?

235's are on the stock 14" rims, 245's are on 89-91 Saleen 5 spoke 16-7. No rubbing issues, but it is close.

1968 What tires do you use on your GT-CS?

I have T/A's, with the black side out. I put less than 500 summer miles a year on the car, ride and bad weather performance are not deciding factor. Street - 215-60-14 front, 235-60-14 rear Racing - 245-50-16 drag radials Also, tire diameter can effect your axle ratio (if that matters to you).

    1968 Battery

Careful with the covers. I have seen some places selling ones where the red caps are more brown than red. Mine fit over the autolite battery pretty well. david

    . My dissapointment

Rhonda, I am hesitant to reply, don't think it needs to be re-hashed here again. Visit the SAAC site, it will take only a minute, you do not need to sign up as a member to see the thread (no different than someone visiting this site). I think it is worth reading and seeing for your self. I...

    . My dissapointment

Been out all day at my son's hockey and baseball practices. Glad I gave the forum something to talk about today. I have not met many members of this forum personally, but to those who know me, I am not an antagonistic person. I check the SAAC forum ever once in a while. Heck they have a...

Every Mustang Owner needs to see this for Brake Light Safety

Was checking out my under dash wiring and noticed my wires at the brake light switch are hot. Questions - Anyone know if there is a replacement part yet? Is the switch specific to the GT/CS, HCS, Shelby? Someone told me they thought the Cougar switch might be the same. Thanks
