Just over 2 weeks until the show!!!! Trying to find a little time to spruce things up and get the car looking as best as it can considering the amount of work it still needs.
Has it been decided where we'll be meeting Sunday morning to drive into the show together??? What time??
Sorry I'm going to miss the dinner Sat. night but have to work. Looking forward to meeting all at the show.

Not being totally familiar with the area I can't really suggest a meeting spot the morning of. I know the line of cars waiting to get in at 6:30 is amazing and trying to keep everyone together will be tough. We should probably pick a parking lot (like McDonalds or IHOP across the street from the show) and get there early so all the cars can then leave that parking lot and get into line together.

I have too much time on my hands this morning so I attached a map. The dotted blue line is the line of cars usually parked and waiting for the show gates to open. The red area is the show and I marked where Mustangs are typically directed to park. Even if we can't get all the cars together maybe someone (Paul N?) can get the volunteer "parkers" to direct all GT/CS & HCS cars to the same spot.

Sounds good Jon and Joe. It's about a 45 min drive from my house, so I'll be on the road early Sun morning.
My guess would be that the IHOP lot will probably be pretty full too with others getting breakfast in the morning. Whatever looks good to you Joe. If you can get an address of where you think we'll meet, the rest of us can mapquest it for directions. Jon, I'll PM my cell # to you. Thanks guys!

My camera holds about 400 pics at it's highest resolution. I'll need to devote half of those to the Broncos for my other site, but I think 200 pics should do it.:smile:

Last time I was there I was still on my street and asked my friend if she brought a camera, she said no, I decided not to turn around and go get mine (afterall it's just another car show) ...then I won a trophy there! Ford spokeswoman Lindsay Wagner even posed by my car.Will never happen again but I won't ever forget my camera either.
I haven't been in the Knott's area in years so I was gonna take a dry run as well to check out a meeting spot but if Joe is gonna do it, that's cool. We have to meet someplace on Beach south of La Palma so we can line up together and all make that right turn, may get seperated a bit by southbounders on Beach when they get a left turn signal though. But it won't all be 68 Mustangs either.
Do we have a decision on where/what time, to go for dinner Saturday night, need a head count too. Can you check out a place for dinner too Joe? You mentioned Claim Jumper in an earlier post. Thanks for doing this!

My husband and I hope to be there - we only live about 10 miles north of Knotts. Looking forward to meeting some other owners (and their cars). We just bought our CS a month ago, so won't be showing it this year due to work in progress.

Ahhhhh Brea, that's where I lived when I started to restore my CS. Bought my parts at Burch Ford every week with my employee discount. :smile:
