Just heard the news that Boyd Coddington has died. He was 63 years old. In my opinion, he made some great cars.

Wow, what a loss ... he was a great hot-rodder and a modern day George Barris ...

That's so sad. He was too young to leave us. He did make some great cars and was a hot rodder at heart. The hod rod and car industry will miss him greatly.

He was a great car builder but the last few years he got in big trouble with the law for making up his own pink slips for the cars he built and then the new owner of the car got busted too for phoney titles!!

Still sad and unexpected that he died.

He might had made some great hot rods, but I never cared for the guy. Here is the URL for a message board from other serious rodders.

Pretty gritty stuff--warning: profanity (and some of it's really funny).

Something to remember...you will be remembered when you leave the planet--in one way or the other. So...I feel it's a good thing to always treat people fairly.

I read the comments. Many not nice.
"The evil that men do lives after them. The good is oft interred with their bones." (Mark Anthony @ Julius Caeser's funeral) I don't believe in speaking ill of the departed. There are too many things we don't know in this life.

P.S.
I may call you an S.O.B. to your face, but I won't behind your back, and NEVER after you're dead.

No kidding about the gritty stuff. Seems like a lot of animosity for what some have perceived from his TV show. I agree, I didn't like the way he treated some of his employees, but that doesn't warrant the vulgar words that some have directed toward him. I agree Paul, good advice to always treat people fairly. It's the right thing to do.
