Bullitt! The reason a young man bought a 1967 Fastback in 1973. He did not know that the Bullitt car was a 1968. This young man lived in a pro Chevy town! His first car went through many upgrades and was quite well known as one of the fastest in town!

All the other movies listed by Mike our my favorites also!!

8) Dirty Mary Crazy Larry
9) Two Lane Blacktop

+1, Thanks for adding those. I've never seen the end of Two Lane Blacktop, I was watching it on the tube one day and the power went out, just a glitch, but it reset my satelite. Never saw it again. Pissed me off. Oh well. Another day.

For me it is "The Great Race" with Tony Curtis and Natalie Wood.

Almost forgot

Christine. Gotta love the 58' Plymouth Sport Fury. Saw one of the cars used in the Movie for sale w/ documentation. $125K. Would love to own one. Almost impossible to find one anymore. Not movie cars, but just a fixer upper 58' SF.

My all time favorite has to be American Graffiti and I had the honor to be an extra in the second movie "More American Graffiti". They filmed the drag racing scenes at Fremont Drag Strip and I can be seen leaning against the chain link fence watching the opening race. I was able to see the 32 coupe up close and personal. It was a great day to be a car guy!

Cheers,

Ron
