11/21/11 - ADMIN EDIT - Casey has sold out of the GT/CS frames, but still has some HCS frames. If you're interested please post in this thread or PM me (admin) and I'll put you in contact with him.
-----------------------------------------------

Thanks to all your inputs, here are the final two frames I will order tommorrow. When they come in (delivery expected is 12 weeks), I will let the group know the details. As mentioned before, the price will be $18 plus shipping.

(In case you may be wondering if this is my business - the answer is no. I do this for fun. I likely loose money on the deal, but that is why we call it a hobby, right?).

Thanks for all the comments which helped come up with two really good license plate frames for us GT/CS and HCS owners to proudly display. Casey

Casey: Looks good, thanks for doing this for us. I'd like two GT/CS frames. Let me know when you find out cost, shipping, etc.

Ron,

You get 3867 if you back out the 251 HCS cars from 4118.

BTW Casey, I'll take two CS frames.

Thanks,
Mike

Those would be GT/CS frames please.
I don't remember seeing it so I'm going to ask the question. Do these frames come as a pair (front and back) or as singles?

So I guess that means that my Marti Report is incorrect...
According to my report there were 317,423 1968 Mustangs, 249,456 were hardtops. Of them 4,118 were California Specials. Does Marti not separate the GT/CS and the High Country Specials?

Thanks,

Ron

that is correct, Marti does not seperate the HCS cars from the 4118 total.

To clarify, I am not taking orders quite yet.

I will send a post and take orders when the frames come in (ETA of 12 weeks). I believe there will be plenty available, but I will refer to this posting and others to insure those who inquired first get their request if it looks like I won't have enough. Again, I dont anticipate that will be a problem.

Thanks to everyone. Casey

I was wondering that too, but I`m assuming if you order 2, you will have one for the front and one for the back of the car. ???

My plan was to offer to sell as many as you like. If you would like a pair, then when I begin taking orders (which is still some time away) you would ask for two. Thanks, Casey

Just an update note.

The dies for the GT/CS and HCS license frames are done. The frames should be done the third week of January. So, likely I will start taking orders in late January.

I will keep everyone informed as the time gets closer. Casey
