MOSESATM, I guess as of today, I'm looking to spend 15k. If I can sell the Barracuda, I'm probably looking at about 19k or so to spend. I'm really just looking for a 10 footer or so to drive my kids around on the weekends. I almost could care less whether it's a 6 or 8 banger; I just want any nice, fairly reasonalby original CS.
I'm currently in the military and we do a lot of moves, so I may have to just have one classic car to lug around. I thought about doing both the Mustang and keeping the convertible (the kids love having their hair whip around), but I realistically have to figure that one car will be easier than two. I've also noticed over the past several years that the CSs are steadily climbing. I think I may have to try to "catch the train" before it leaves the station, so to speak. If I wait too much longer, I may not be able to a-FORD one of these awesome cars. My family has worked for Ford since 1927, so getting one of these would be a real treat....If anybody could watch out for a reasonable one for me, I'd owe ya a dinner. I've already got a pre-approved loan and on Ebay my handle is "Redwingrobb". You'll see that my feedback is impeccable.
