My husband and I hope to be there - we only live about 10 miles north of Knotts. Looking forward to meeting some other owners (and their cars). We just bought our CS a month ago, so won't be showing it this year due to work in progress.

welcome, please post some pictures of what you have.

Donna - we live just down the street from Burch Ford! (the La Habra side of Brea LOL)

I'll check with my husband about the dinner.

Is everyone wearing "Special" shirts to the show?

I tried to post a picture. 289, auto - needs some TLC.

Nice car tworings. Great color combo.

Don't worry we all need some TLC ... some of our cars too.

The car looks pretty good - why not show it with everyone else?

I don't know the show myself having never been to it, but often here in the NY area you can choose to not have your car judged if you wish. It would be cool to have another CS parked with the group I'm sure.

tworings.....some of us are I'm sure. If you order real fast from the webmaster of this site or MidnightSpecial, I bet you can have yours in time for the show. MidnightSpecial mails them priority and the webmaster will bring them to dinner Saturday night or the show. I think your car looks good! Bring it! ~~~~Donna

Heck, my car needs paint but I'm gonna show it. They only give out a couple of trophies anyhow for 2500 cars! I'm there for the paaaarrrty!

The car looks better in the picture than in person LOL - the problem is we went to replace a couple of burnt out rear tail lights and couldn't get new lights in - sockets too cooroded, so it looks like the tail section will have to come apart so we can replace the sockets. We're still waiting for parts, so I don't think it will be done in two weeks. But we'd like to bring it next year.

So, "TwoRings" (LOTR?), are you coming anyway? You don't need a CS to show up.

...such as myself. I'll make every effort to be there. Sat. night, too at Claim Jumper (or was it peddle car cruise night at "in-and-out-Burger"?)

Yes, we're planning on coming to the show - I ordered shirts last night, I hope they get here in time! LOL

Trying to talk my husband into dinner Saturday night since we live so close.

I went by Knott's today. There is a Starbucks at 7711 Beach Blvd that would be a good place for us to meet on Sunday morning. It has lots of parking all the way around the Wax Museum. We should probably meet ~6:30.

Hi folks, sounds like it's going to be a really good time and I wish I could be there too.

Friends of ours have been flying down from Canada for years in time to coinside with the Ford show at Knotts Berry and they stay at the Super 8 Motel which I understand is close by.

They are going to stop by and meet with you folks and take some photos of the group for me.

Since I can't be there in person, I will give them some pins to pass out to you.

Have a safe trip and enjoy the show.

Dave

If you are staying at the Super 8 at 7930 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620 it is VERY close to Knotts - pretty much just across the street. Is that what you are asking?

 Tell ya what...if you arrive without your CS...I have a loaner you can use....it's kinda small though, only a tiny bench seat. Maybe get another one and use em for roller skates.

Thanks for checking Joe. I'll plan on being at Starbucks around 6 A.M. on Sunday morning unless we all decide to meet elsewhere.
I'm sure we'll firm up plans by the end of next week. Jon has my cell# and I have his, so unless anything changes we'll see you all at Starbucks Sun. A.M.

Got you down, Jon. How does 7 PM sound to everyone? I'd like to get the headcount by this Saturday and make the reservation.
