I just got off the phone with Tim, and it looks like things are coming together nicely. We were both up in Reno for the past few days for the air races (amazing!!!), and are now trying to play 'catch up'.

That's because Renee (and TJ) were stuck working double shifts of ramp security during the Unlimited races and Blue Angels due to shorthanded staffing. I was way out on the pylons where the good photos could be had. I managed to get a few of Renee at work including two from about a mile away near Pylon #8. Look closely (at two distant ones) and you'll see the orange vests & golf cart ;-)

And unlike Renee - photos for me came pretty easy. All I had to do was sit & wait.

It is the same car. Tim and I recognized it after we stopped to take a look. It is supose to be on it's way to France if all goes as the owner expects it to.

You're right Tim. They had TJ and me working pretty hard out there! No time to take too many pictures, or even to watch the last few races. Too many people trying to sneek into a restricted area!

Let me toss in an idea that Jon just brought up privately. I really wish we would've thought of it sooner, but if any of you have books you wish to get signed at this gathering, PM me immediately for an address to FedEx your book and so that I know to expect it. You may ship it tomorrow for a Friday or Saturday delivery in time for Cory et-al on Sunday!

Ok, I am somewhat settled on the arrangements up to Tim's Sunday for the book signing. I will pick up Ron (Clubpro) Sunday around 8 am, and head to Renee's. From there, we head up to Tim's. Looking forward to meeting all, see you there.

...Rob made it in from Seattle this afternoon. Renee picked him up at the airport, drove him to Loomis then tossed him the keys to the "Stevenson" for the remaining 30- miles to my house. It's BEER:30 now and we're waiting to hear from Neil ;-)
